Milton Romani responds to INCB attack on Uruguay
5 March 2014
The INCB Annual Report was launched in Washington DC. The Report clearly condemns Uruguay's decision to legally regulate cannabis markets last December. In his foreword to the report, Yans calls these policies “misguided”, somewhat more diplomatic then accusing Uruguay of a “pirate attitude” and telling Washington and Colorado to “stop this nonsense” as he did on other occasions. In response, Ambassador Milton Romani (Uruguay's Permanent Representative at the Organisation of American States) released his comments, available below, in Spanish.
