Guyanese Association of Harm Reduction (AGRRR)
The Guyanese Association of Harm Reduction (AGRRR) is an association of involved actors and brings together activists, professionals, volunteers, and users from French Guyana. It caters to any person or structure concerned with the field of drug use and its consequences and that in a pragmatic approach aimed at the dignity of people and their environment. The aim is to help developing a community response towards empowerment and capacity building through active participation of beneficiary groups, both to define the health response and to fight against stigmatization and exclusion which they are subject. AGRRR wishes to support the creation of self-help groups to strengthen civil society and the recognition of expertise born of experience. The last aim is to act at a regional level in order to change the criminogenic french politics surrounding drugs.
