Indian Drug Users’ Forum (IDUF)
The Indian Drug Users’ Forum (IDUF), established in 2009, is a national level forum spanning across all regions of India that endeavours to promote the meaningful involvement of people who use drugs in policy reform and program development. It plays a pivotal role in providing technical and capacity building support to state-level networks of people who use drugs, as well as in representing the community of people who use drugs at various national and international platforms. IDUF believes that mobilising the community at the local, regional and national level can serve as an impetus for a social movement that has the strength, determination and sustainability to address issues that affect the lives of drug users.
