Supporting Community Development Initiatives (SCDI)

The Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives (SCDI) is a NGO aiming to improve the quality of life of most vulnerable populations, including drug users, sex workers, PLHIV, as well as their partners and their children. SCDI has been active in advocacy work related to drug use and drug users, pushing for more inclusive and right-based policies. SCDI supported the establishment and is currently hosting the Vietnam Network of People Who Use Drugs. The Vietnam Civil Society Partnership Platform on AIDS - also hosted by SCDI - provides a forum for organizations of vulnerable populations such as those of drug users, sex workers and men who have sex with men to interact and support each other.
