European Network of People who Use Drugs (EuroNPUD)
The European Network of People who Use Drugs (EuroNPUD) is a regional network representing people who use drugs in Northern, Southern, and Western Europe. We cover Central Europe in partnership with the Eurasian Network of People who Use Drugs. We are developing an advocacy programme targeting the European Union and the UNODC Global HIV Programme. We are working in partnership with Correlation and EuroHRN as we develop our strategy and capacity to engage with EU. We are working with INPUD and IDPC as we develop our strategy and capacity to work with the UN. EuroNPUD recently undertook a pair of strategic planning and capacity building events for advocates looking at our work with the EU and UNODC respectively. EuroNPUD has evolved in order to challenge the widespread misinformation, discrimination and marginalisation of people who use drugs in communities throughout the European Union. As part of a long and proud history of drug user organising in Europe, EuroNPUD aims to provide a platform for networks and groups from across the EU to act collectively on issues of political and social importance
